The top 5 breakfast spots in Cornwall you have to try
Breakfast is up there with my favourite meal of the day - I love nothing more than a breakfast out so I’m thrilled to be sharing my favourites here in Cornwall.
The Godolphin, Marazion
It’s not everyday you can sip your coffee whilst looking out at a castle in the sea is it, and to top it off - the Godolphin really do make a delicious breakfast. The menu itself is incredible, from pancakes to full English, you’d be hard pushed not to find something you’d enjoy. The decor, overall vibe and friendly staff make the place. I would highly recommend a breakfast date here and look forward to going back very soon!

2. Indidog, Falmouth
Another spot that has the most beautiful sea views, on a sunny day there is no-where better to be than on this little balcony overlooking the harbour. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Falmouth high street, this place offers a peaceful space to enjoy a coffee, light bite or a delicious breakfast. The menu is fantastic, with plenty of options for everyone. I opted for the vegan breakfast with an added poached egg, and it was absolutely divine.

3. Feed and Fed, Hayle
There are not enough words to describe my love for Feed, a gorgeous street eatery that saved all of us locals during the various lockdowns. I remember my first meet up with my friends when it was allowed, we had take-away tacos from Feed eaten at Hayle beach, ever since then it has been a firm favourite of ours. They have since opened a seating area which I can confirm is an absolute sun trap, perfect for a sunny morning breakfast! My personal favourite is their breakfast box, which has become an integral part of our Sunday morning before heading off for a beach day. You guessed it, another must visit, which is no surprise considering this is my top 5 favourite spots - but just in case it wasn’t clear you know!

4. Wavecrest Cafe, Lizard Point
In case it wasn't obvious, I absolutely love a sea view with my breakfast, and this one quite frankly is my all time favourite. The Wavecrest menu has the perfect mix of sweet and savoury options, which is amazing if your indecisive like me. They also serve breakfast until 11.45am which works nicely if you’re having a slower start to the day but still want all the breakfast food goodness. Once you’ve had your breakfast, I can highly recommend the walk across to Housel Bay via the coast path, some of the most beautiful views in Cornwall can be found along that walk.

5. Be Kind The Vegan Coffee Caravan, South Quay, Hayle
A recent discovery for me that has fast become one of my go-to places to grab breakfast, in particular, this vegan BLT bagel that honestly I wish I could have every single morning. They also do fantastic coffee, cakes and the rest of the menu looks incredible too - I promise I will try something other than the bagel one day. A great choice for vegans and non-vegans to be honest. I took my mum here and she now eats the vegan bacon that they use instead of real bacon - vegan food is just as delicious I promise! There isn’t a seating area as such but there are plenty of places you can go nearby to enjoy your breakfast, would highly recommend to you all.
