Green People - Nordic Roots review

As a self-proclaimed skin care addict, I was absolutely thrilled when Green People reached out to me to see if I’d like to try their new Nordic Roots range. They very kindly sent me the entire range to try, so lets start with a bit about this new product line from the brand.

So starting with the Cranberry Micellar Foam cleanser, I was admittedly a bit sceptical of this product, having quite dry skin I was concerned that this feel quite stripping on the skin. I was happily proven wrong, it leaves the skin feeling clean without feeling tight or dry. I have been using this in the morning and also at night as my first cleanse, it has slotted very nicely into my routine.

Apple Cellular Water, Cranberry extract & Glycerine
After cleansing, I then apply the Hyaluronic Booster Serum which is just an absolute delight to use. I apply this to damp skin as the beauty of Hyaluronic acid is that it retains any moisture on the skin, so any hydrating product you put on top it sandwiches in, leaving your skin dewy and hydrated. I love the formula in particular of this product as it feels very light on the skin but really packs a punch when it comes to hydration.

Hyaluronic Acid, Sugar Beets & Hop flower
This has become my go-to morning moisturiser, the Apple Complex Moisturiser works perfectly under SPF and makeup, leaves the skin feeling hydrated but not too slippery for anything going on top of it. I think this would be perfect for all skin types, especially those with sensitive skin as it’s ever so gentle but really effective in hydrating the skin.

Now I could never pick favourites when it comes to my skin care children, but the Marine Facial Oil may well be the star of the show. I look forward to using this every night. I am currently doing a beach clean every evening so my skin is absolutely battered from the wind and rain, I put this on as my final step and all is well again in the world. It is so nourishing, especially combined with the Hyaluronic Booster Serum, I wake up and my skin is quite literally glowing. I can see myself running out of this very soon as I am not the most frugal with it!

Final Thoughts
I am absolutely delighted to give this range a glowing review, because it really deserves it. It is so hard to find brands like Green People who are sustainable, ethical, and creating incredible products. This entire range has slotted in beautifully with the rest of my (excessive) skin care collection and I’ll be repurchasing all four when I have used them up.
