Breakfast Club - Sunset Surf

I am a creature of habit when it comes to food. I have a selection of restaurants and cafes that are tried and trusted and I go to them constantly (which I will absolutely be sharing in the future because if they make my list of faves they are worth going to!). After getting back from a family trip to Scotland yesterday, I had the urge to get out and get some fresh air after all the travel. I literally googled ‘Best breakfast in Cornwall’ and came across Sunset Surf Cafe, located in Gwithian.

We dragged ourselves out of bed despite the windy weather to try somewhere we have never been before (I know, I am wild).

After spending a few minutes perusing the menu, which I have to say has the perfect mix, and vegetarian options which is an instant thumbs up from me, I went for the veggie breakfast and a decaf soya latte.

The whole vibe of Sunset Surf is exactly what you’d expect; chilled out and with the most stunning views of Gwithian.

Now I don't want to be too dramatic, but I think I can safely say this is up there with one of the best breakfasts I have had in Cornwall (google wasn’t lying). Everything was perfect, from the actual breakfast to the coffee (decaf soya is not easy to make taste nice, trust me) and the location just tops it off. I would highly recommend a visit if you haven’t already, we are planning to go back to try the lunch menu!

After breakfast, we decided to go for a little walk around Gwithian Towans, it was absolutely mental wind but like I said, I did say I wanted fresh air and theres nothing better than sea air, fact.

Overall, an absolutely wonderful Tuesday morning exploring and discovering another Breakfast location to add to the list! You can have a nosey of Sunset Surf here and please leave in comments below your favourite breakfast spots!
