I am going to preface this post by telling you a little bit about me and my love for perfume. Despite the fact we have been in lockdown for what feels like 400 years, there has not been a day where I haven’t put on perfume. It makes me feel like me, I feel very naked without it and with that being said, it can become a costly way to live. That is where Superdrug’s Artiscent Atelier comes in.

I can’t remember where I first saw these perfumes, it may well have been Tik Tok, but I am all for a high end dupe. Why wouldn’t you be? If I can smell delicious for a fraction of the price, I am all for it.

‘ARTISCENT fragrances are created in Paris, home of prestige perfumery, where perfumers are given carte blanche to translate their vision into unique and exciting scents. They select with passion and blend with expertise iconic ingredients to design exclusive fragrances that will ultimately join the ARTISCENT collection, if they bring true newness and live up to the brand creativity standards. From Paris perfumers to all fragrance lovers.’

The range is entirely cruelty free and suitable for vegans/vegetarians, £9.99 for a 50ml EDP or £15.99 for a 100ml EDP. When I bought my first bottle there was a buy one get your second half-price, and it seems Superdrug often run offers on the range.

I was firstly struck by the minimal, and in my opinion, beautiful sleek design. They look absolutely stunning on my dressing table. I initially purchased ‘Lily Amour’ and ‘Patchouli Passion’ - the second they arrived I practically ripped the package open as I was desperate to see if they really were as good as people were claiming they were.

Not only do they smell absolutely incredible, they literally last all day long. As a perfume lover, I honestly could not believe that for £9.99 a pop, these little bottles packed such a punch. It has been true love ever since, with my collection growing to include one of the mens perfumes ‘Vetiver Arome’ for my partner and me telling everyone I know to get themselves down to Superdrug to pick up a perfume or four.

I am also going to let you in on the worst kept secret - these perfumes are the most spot on dupes for a variety of high end perfumes. Below is the list that I initially came across when doing my research on the perfumes, full credit for this dupes list goes to Melissa Jane Lee, whose initial blog post sparked my interest in trying the entire Artiscent range. Melissa’s blog is full of amazing recommendations and one I love reading.

My final thoughts? I will be buying this range forever, and shouting about it to anyone who will listen. Affordable, beautiful scents that last all day, cruelty free and so easily accessible for everyone. I want to thank Superdrug for working with me on this post and for sending me the fragrances I didn’t already own to include and test out for you all.

You can purchase the full range here, picking favourites would be like choosing between my furry children, but I think I would have to say my current top three are; Patchouli Passion, Lily Amour and Exotique Musk.

Have you tried the Superdrug Ariscent Atelier range?
